Freddy the Freeloader is one of the many comical characters played by Red Skelton. In the 50’s Red had the funniest show on television. Featuring slapstick comedy and lovable routines, he is a man of many silly faces. He is one of my personal favourites

A great Canadian series, of a brave dog with a big heart. The best part of Saturday morning was the feeling of excitement as the theme song started to play. It aired on CTV through the 60’s and 80’s.
For all you who would like a splash of the hobo check out here for a link to CTV’s online videos, Yes they brought him back!
Interesting ….. the name hobo was first heard back in the early 1800’s
