{June 16, 2011}   It’s a Newborn Geocache!

I’ve been geocaching for a few years now. Managed to find them in all sorts of different countries, France, Germany, and Cuba included.

Quick lesson: Geocaches are small containers hidden all over the world, found by following GSP coordinates. The finder writes their name, date, and trades an item if there is enough room. More found here at Geocaching.com

A few weeks ago I put together a newborn geocache of my very own! It’s quite easy to make one, if you want to get in on the fun too!

I used magnets bought from the dollar store, black duck tape, and a mint tin from Starbucks.

After a bit of stretching, wrestling, and pulling the tape off me, I stuck the magnets and tin together.

Then it was just a matter of finding the right fence to hide it at. Near my apartment window, where I can watch people try to be stealthy, Perfect!

Geocaching can take you to places you’ve never been in your own neighborhood.

{September 16, 2010}   For the love of Betty White

This lady has been rocking out this year. It seems nothing will stop her! From hosting Saturday Night Live, staring in her TV show Hot in Cleveland, and her movie coming out in a few weeks, Betty White has got it. What is it?, you ask. It’s the attention of everyone. Betty White has a special place in my heart. Here’s a spicy video she did on her clothing line, Watch, Enjoy, and Learn from the Master.

Keeping up with the current trends, her HoodieBuddie clothing have built in headphones. To check out the different style and see classy Betty White prints click here.

My times back home so far have been fun. Looking for some excitement, I found a paintball game to join. There is nothing like being the only woman on the field out of 17 players. I got a chance to show the guys what women are made out of. I think more ladies should play this exhilarating game. With the thrill of adrenaline, pumping through your body it’s empowering. Nothing is better then running through the field, ducking behind a tree, looking out around it, spotting a glimmer off a mask hiding behind a bunker in front, holding the gun tightly in hand, taking the shot, and yes! A successful head shot!
